Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this amazing event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this incredible cause and the nationwide event has gathered $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and sponsoring great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To read more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
